Well I have three clown loaches. Two which always swim around the tank, one constantly hides. But these two are always chasing each other around and looking for food. When I put in blood worms they come right to my hand and eat out of it along with all the other fish... They always chase the other fish's mouths looking to steal a blood worm from their mouths. I have had them even steal the blood worms from my hands and go hide... gosh, they are very cute  .... Anyone here have similar clowns? The only draw back is when ever I do maintance in the tank they are around my fingers looking for food...

Yeah I used to have a group of clown loaches and they are defintely my fav fish. They have so much personality and are great fun to watch.

Ditto with the stealing from another fishes grasps. I named 3 of my 5 biggest clowns. They are Captain Jack, Barbossa, and Bandit, they are food pirates, they steal everything from right in front of the other fish.

Your 240L tank is about 63 USFG. Clowns will grow quite large and will need to be re-homed. Also, the hiding clown is likely as a result of these fish preferring to be in a school of at least 6 of their own kind. They are extremely social and are constantly interacting within their species and with most everyone else in the tank. I have 8 clowns and 7 skunks in a USFG tank and they play interminably.

Vic how big is your tank with 8 clown loaches in it? It must be huge. I'm not sure what skunks are, are they big?

Proton my clowns aren't that brazen, but they are very hungry little fish, and are always busy looking for food. I'm wondering what tank to get now that I know how big they grow.
