I know this is not exactly a new film, but i saw it last night for first time, i'd heard it get pretty much panned but it intrigued me and i must say................what was the point of this film? I think it's one of the worst i've seen (and i generally do like alien invasion / disaster type films)

It's 85 minutes long with a completely pointless house party going on for about the first 25 minutes, leaving about 60 minutes of a film that was always going no-where, and then to top it off, an ending that gave me the impression the films directors/producers/writer's just gave up and called it a night

I have no problem with the "way" it was made (like Blair Witch) kind of thing, that wasn't an issue for me, it was just the film as a film!

i agree with you fry_lover... absolute rubbish!!! i found the party bit at start too long and was boring me, and it really was just a pointless waste of time watching film!

I saw it for the first time Sat night, must agree that the party was long, but overall I loved the film. Maybe I just have bad taste!

I thought it ok was ok. Not my fav though. I just want to know where in the hell the creature came from, how did it hide or govt hide it and how in the heck it got out. Maybe I missed those parts???

I thought the girl blowing up was kinda coolish freaky. Huge creature was def. kinda wierd/interesting.

I LOVED this movie. Tons of action. I saw it the first day it was in the theater - it literally kept me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for more.

i loved cloverfield, the creature was great. ok the party bit went on too long but the rest of it was really good.
