Cloudy New Tank

Hi I have a friend who's setting up a new tank. After a few days with the tank completely empty (on advice of p@h-I've put her right!) the water's gone cloudy. I know I've seen posts about this before but the search is bringing up no results. It's some kind of bloom I know but I can't remember what the advice is.
Can someone direct me to a post?

yeah, its called a bacterial bloom and will clear up as the tank cycles.

+1, it's harmless and nothing to worry about.. the bacteria are just having a party
