Clicking Betta!?

Ok i really have to ask. Has any one ever heard their betta click?

I was just writing an email when i heard a fairly load clicking sound and when i looked up i realised it was coming from my lil boy, when he made the click his gills twitched, its cute but is it normal!

mine 'click' when they eat, and you can hear them munching as well it's quite funny!

Is it not maybe perhaps how fast they turn and their fins "whip" the water or something? -shrug- I've never heard any fish click, lol.

no its a proper clicking sound, erm sounds almost like tapping a metal nail on glass, a smallish nail that is

You know, I'd swear I've heard a clicking noise coming out of my guy's bowl, especially right around feeding time. I'm going to pay closer attention next time. I always thought it was the lamp making a weird noise. Lol

Mine click too, can hear the girls more because there are more of them. Feeding time normally
