Following my last 2 water changes I have noticed a clear slime/stringy like goo in my tank. Some kind of Algae?? The tank is about 4 months old. All my levels are normal. I usually scoop some out, and the rest goes away shortly after the water change. Either my snails are eating it, or it just settles into the gravel and I don’t notice it anymore. Should I be concerned? Thanks

Could you share photos of the slime so we can help you better?

I think I had the same in one of my tanks recently. It was a clear slimy stringy substance the was stuck to (and hanging off of) the aquarium glass. I don't think I would have seen it except for the air bubbles that were present on the goo after the water change. I thought maybe it's something my snails are putting out?? Don't know.

Unfortunately I don’t have pics… like chasing fish said, I notice it because all the bubble stick to it.
