Cleaning Option For My Tank

hello all
in my tank is starting to get algae in the glass and I was thinking is it ok to put in a plec from my pond ??

I don't see the problem just leave it in the tank until he cleans the glass

any opinions??

whats the size of the tank

31 gallon the plec is not really big
maybe have in the tank for 2,3 days

its a common plec its like 3 inches long thats not to big is it ??

I don't think adding a pleco is going to solve your problem to be honest, sorting the cause is better than fighting it constantly, do you have a picture of the algae?

Hey, i wouldnt add any plec from your pond as they may have some sort of disease that the aquarium fish may not be immune to. maybe you could use a brand new clean sponge and rub it off. seem to have worked for me in the past.

the sponge sounds great and easy I'm going to try that. ok so adding a plec will not work and I dont have to stress him out nether to catch him in the pond
all try to put a stick in the sponge so I don't have to get my hand in.
