I was gonna do my weekly clean and water change but noticed i've not got enough dechlorinator and my lfs is shut (bloody sundays!!!).

I got this stuff a while ago Waterlife Bacterlife and i'm not sure if this would do the job. When i got it ages ago the bloke in the lfs said it would dechlorinate the water but on the bottle it says nothing about it. Was wondering if anyone knows.

Cheers

This is a GOOGLED discription NOT my opinion but if you DO want my opinion this type of product is a complete waste of money

NOT a dechlorinator

BacterLife is superior to many of its competitors as it contains two types of bacteria.

Virtually all bacteria products sold around the world contain Heterotrophic bacteria. These bacteria are responsible for the digestion and breakdown of solid organic waste in the aquarium.

This breakdown of solid waste results in the production of Ammonia, and other soluble Nitrogen compounds, which can then be broken down by the filtration system.

Products containing ONLY Heterotrophic bacteria will cause ammonia levels to INCREASE before they start to DECREASE.

BacterLife contains Heterotrophic bacteria AND Autotrophic bacteria. The Autotrophic bacteria feed directly on soluble Nitrogen compounds in the water like AMMONIA and NITRITE.

This means that BacterLife will IMMEDIATELY start to reduce the AMMONIA levels, without any dangerous increases.

Didnt think it was, cheers, can't say i've really used it much though.
