Cleaning Lime Scale From Your Fish Tank

Could anyone advise me on the best way to keep lime scale (I persume) from the water line of my fish tank?

Could anyone advise me on the best way to keep lime scale (I persume) from the water line of my fish tank?

well i know that the best (natural) way to descale is to use white vinegar - obviously the fish would have to be elsewhere while it does its work though, and the tank would have to be very very thoroughly cleaned and rinsed and rinsed and rinsed afterwards! apparently people use razorblades too.

I use a razor type scraper at the moment but wondered if there was a way to keep it down?

It would be nice not to have to clean the cr*p off weekly!

Perhaps someone might have the answer we are both looking for

I use kitchen towel soaked in lemon juice every few weeks - smells better than vinegar
