Cleaning Juwel 1000Lph Power Head

My juwel 1000lph powerhead seems to be clogged up. If i unplug it and plug it back in againt it takes 10 minutes to fire up.

My 600lph one I can open up and clean up the internals. Is mine just tight or is this not possible with the 1000lph model?

you should be able to open it up. It may be stuck?

strange i've even had a towell around it and no luck. are you sure they come out? will have to use more force i think.

you deffo should be able to open it to the impeller. Stick it in some hot water for 10 mins, then have a go.

crikey they took some getting into, used a knife and forced it out in the end, caked it was, all working now. thank you!
