What do you all use to keep the inside of the glass clean? Im assuming a mag float or similar.

Any perticular ones to get or is the mag float one of the better ones out?

Thanks
chris

I use a magnet cleaner sometimes but am now convinced it's responsible for the scrates i have found on the front, I also use a sponge and a stanley blade for the tough bits.

Thats what im worried about. All the little scratches and a brand new tank would really annoy me!

I use a scraper with a handle. Its similar to a stanley blade but stainless and gets algae off without scratching the glass.

I hate magnet cleaners for the reasons you have stated. Will probably never use one again.

No VM you can buy them, they come with a plastic and stainless blade with handles in different lengths.

Rena Algae scraper

Its the rena one with plastic and stainless blades I use in the Marine and in my tropical I use the Tetra one at the top.

Had bad experiences with the Magnets.

oh yes, thanks Tina, i remember them now, i used one of those years ago for a freshwater set-up, i will have to get one.

I hate magnets, it does not seem to matter how clean you try to keep them.

i think i had one for my planted tank aswell. Will have to get another one aswell
