Hey people just got a used fish tank have resealed it but have made a mess with the silicone all over the glass! because its waterproof obviously water and a algae scrubber wont get rid of it.

Is there anything i can use to clean the tank glass? i was gonna try scraping off the silicone with a sharp razor blade but dont want to scratch the glass!

have heard vinegar and baking soda?! has anyone used this and is it safe. Be grateful if someone could help out

Thanks

a single sided/edge razor blade is the best thing to scrape it off. They are available from chemists or hardwares, or ask your LFS if they have a spare one.
Silicon is resistant to acids like vinegar but very alkaline chemicals like bleach, will damage it.
