Cleaning A Previous Snake Tank!

Just picked up a 3ft tank which has been used to keep a snake in we were not told this and after travelling over an hour, managed to knock them down because of this.

Whats the best and safest stuff to use on it?

I've heard white vinegar is pretty fish safe would that do the job?

Vinegar, salt, lemon juice and hot water; all safe and easily rinsed away
