Cleanest Catfish ?

what catfish/cories/loaches is the best for a small aquarium .. and maybe something that has a low waste

i have 2 gouramis and an angel... soo something suitable and not too big :L thanks

Most cats are fairly messy but i down have a clue what the cleanest is. Whats the tank size? Angels will need a 20G= tank thats 18" high. What type of gouramis are they?

the gouramis are paradise .. 2 females.. may get rid of them thoug as they are fighting and they are both females

and the tanks only a 10 gallon at the moment but im upgrading soon to a 30 gallon. ( the angel is only about 1.5 inches big at the moment)

Paradise fish and angels if risky i would rehome one of the types and get them a bigger tank sooner rather than later. In a 10G a group of Hara jerdoni would be good. Or in a 30G you could have
banjo catfish
bumblebee catfish
bristlenose plec
clown plec
corys
upside down catfish

do you know how big clown loaches get roughly ?
becaus ei have seen them get about a foot long !!! but i dont know if its just if they are in a bigger tank they have more room to spread there 'fins'

They can get 16"+ and should given the correct space. They wont grow as big in smaller tanks because they will get stunted.

ooohh thats a no to them then xD
well i just think its either a yoyo loach or bristlenose pleco or cories

i was goin to get kuhli loaches but they dont tend to come out ... but they are low waste .. so i just don't know haha.. this is a thing i have to think about because i don't want to get a fish that i regret getting

I think it will be best to wait till you have a bigger than before you add anything else.

I'd say Oto's (otocinclus [spelling]) are the 'cleanest' Catfish probably because they are so small! Max out at 4/5 cm. A nice little fish, good for algae eating, but can be delicate :good:

Cory cats. They make very little mess and keep the sand perfectly clean.

DO NOT GET A CLOWN PLECO! I have had one for 4 yr old and it never stops pooping. If you only have 3 other fish in the tank the clown pleco will make it look like you have 20. Worst pooping fish ever. But mine was my first she has been threw a lot so I have to keep her. Never again would I get one basically they turn wood into poop.

My clown plec is nearly 13 and I love it to bits but you are right, they do make a lot of poop! A lot of poop for a fish you hardly ever see

i have 4 kuhli loaches and as long as u have lots of dark hiding spots in ur tank they will come out during the day and at night, they r very entertaining to watch and as u say have a low waste. would defo recommend to any1

i have a bronze cory who does a nice job. not sure about the pooping though.

i will put a picture on here soon. but my tank is very well planted and it is shaded in most areas apart from the front... so really it should be fine for kuhlis ... and they are very low waste .. so i will get them
