I have seen someone using clamp lights with 6500k 'sunlight' bulbs in them.
Is this a viable option for lighting or a complete no no

I understand the tank would need a condensation tray or acrylic lid to stop the lights getting wet with condensation but I can't see any other reason why this shouldn't work.

All ideas/constructive criticisms welcome :D

Thanks M4

Those sunlight bulbs are for reptiles who need vitamin D3. They also need to be replaced every 6-8 months and are very costly in the long run. I know this because I have turtles, $60 a year, its terrible
