Cichlids - Should I?......

So, I could drop the 4 Geophagus Surinimensis and swap with 2/4 BA?

Do you think they would work okay?... It's a long tank, so I'm hoping each group will establish its own area and live happily ever after...........

The BA just add a bit more colour to the tank, something the Geo Surinimensis don't have really.

Cheers,

Ryan

Yeah could be worth a try just go for a pair of the Acaras as they dont work in groups the same way as the geophagus. But be very careful with these as they can turn quite nasty with the other fish and since you have dwarfs in there be doubly careful and watch close for signs of aggression.

Surinimensis are beautiful. id have them over the BA personally or have 8 red heads l0l

Tank is now actually a little larger than 450L, 472L to be precise.

I went up from 74" long to 80" long..... :D

More room for my fishies!

Sooo... I'm thinking of binning the Blue Acaras, too risky for my Dwarfs Cichlids.

I'm still going to stick with the 4 Red Heads, but what else (colourful) should I go for?

The Geophagus Surinimensis are lovely fish but too similar to the Red Heads. Could I get a nice pair (maybe 4) of colourful Cichlids?

I REALLY want a JD pair but I know they'll kill pretty much everything in my tank. Again, I'd love an Oscar, but they'll see all my current fish as food also...

Or could I even go down the Silver Dollar (6) or a trio of Bala Sharks?!

Red Terrors could be back on the list now I'm not going down the Angel route?

Basically, I'm after large colourful fish which aren't too aggressive.

HELP! Two weeks and counting....

Ryan :)

Scrap the RTs, Ive just done some research on them!.... Little too aggressive me thinks. Lol...

Red Spotted Severum is acclimatising as I type... :) £18.50 though........
