after having to part with my african yellow labs because of aggression in the end im looking for a new world one or pair

you can see what other fish i have in my sig

i quite like the looks of rams and my lFS stock them

anyone else recommend me something :good:

look at some apistogrammas, they're generally alrite

your tiger barbs might be a problem, particularly if you want the cichlids to breed

Rams are quite sensitive and wouldnt like the barbs

a single keyhole would be fine in that size tank with a nice shoal of peacful fish like preacox as you can see i have gone for that approach :p IMO those 2 fish are a good idea for a 70l

Apistogrammas would be fine, although they don't all need to be kept in groups.
I kept a trio in a 3ft tank and the male turned on one of the females during the night. Sadly, she didn't make it. The existing two paired up and had bred within a week.

Kribensis would be far too aggressive in that size tank and with all fish that are in there.

i had to return my pair of kribs, lovely looking fish, but between them they killed 7 neon tetras, 2 rosy tetras, 2 kuhli loaches and made my pair of cories have one eye between them
