I am keeping 7 rainbow cichlids, herotilapia multispinosa, in my community tank. They are presently in with rasboras, mollies, gold barbs, neons, black neons, zebra danios, an angel and assorted corydoras. Needless to say its a large tank. Here is a picture of one of mine.
Obviously for a smaller tank there would be no room for that many, maybe only 2 or 3 as a centerpiece for a 47.
