Thinking of maybe buying another 100L and have some cichlids but I'm totally new to it and I'm not sure where to start. Any advice on fish to look at stocking.

Cheers

Depends on whether you would like to go for an option that is either colourful and busy or interesting and entertaining? :/

If you`re thinking along the lines of the colourful and busy Malawi/Mbuna/victoria haps then you could really do with trying to get a tank that`s bigger than 100L. The Tanganyikan cichlids/shell dwellers would be more suited to a 100L tank.

Have a good read through this section and the journals and photgraph section, there are lots of posts and ideas that will help you make up your mind :good:

Are you looking to get African or Central/South American cichlids? Shell dwellers would do well in a 100l tank, give them some room to colonize and breed. Apistos or Rams are a good choice as well. The key thing with almost every cichlid is having plenty of caves/room so they can establish territories.
