Hi all I posted a topic to try to identify my Cichlid breed but at the time didn't know how to post pics, thank you to those that replied and I now hope I have done this right.. pics can be found at http://s1239.photobucket.com/albums/ff502/dpl66/ the large fish is the dad of my little ones and I have now started a new tank 210 litres with just a single pair , with a sandy bottom and a log for them to hide etc they are on their second batch of babies in as little as 8 weeks and they chose to have them in the bottom of a decorative jug rather than the rock supplied...so if any one can help me identify them it will be very much appreciated, I really want to set them up right etc..thanks again
 
Looks like Geophagus Brasilensis to me. It's a South American species.

Thank you.. a friend had said a Geo..something a rather but they couldn't remember any more than that lol and the woman I got them from told me it was South African..so was a bit confusing for me. At least now I have something concrete to search for...
