Cichlid Id Please

I wonder if anyone can Id this cichlid for me, is it a Pearlscale? Lfs not sure as the person who brought it in wasn't sure...... Sorry about pic quality!!!

What size is he?

Could be a cross bred, has the shape etc of a texas

He / she is at my lfs and about 8" long. Its been housed with a smallish (3") convict, clown loach and a plec.
I am only getting him/her and maybe the plec.

the colours aren't accurate as i took it on my phone
