Im currently stocking up a 240L community and im stuck for a centrepiece fish/pair.Stocking will be as follows

1 Common Plec (if/when it gets too big it'll be rehomed (or i may buy a 100USG in a year)
9 Harlequin rasbora
7 Rummy nose tetra
2 platies
2 swordtails
3 guppies
6 cory cats (sterbai or similar)

for centrepiece fish ive been thinking pearl gouramis or angels or a cichlid pair..can anyone recomend a cichlid species in a pair who would be compatable with the fish listed above (doesnt need to be compatable with angels/gouramis as they would be "instead of")

My tank PH is 8,sand bottomed, with some live plants, rock cave (plecs house) and terracotta pots and bogwood (Id purchase a cave or rock for cichlids to feel safe around if needed)

Dwarf Cichlids like Apisto's or Kribs perhaps. Angels are cichlids to you know and are lovely endeering fish, even though they do squabble sometimes. Gourami's are lovely fish either the pearl or lace gourami would be lovely fish.
