as christmas is coming up im stuck for some ideas and seeing as this is my first year fish keeping im no doubt going to ask for a few things fish/tank related.

Now i know theres millions of things out there i can buy like more fish and more tanks and stuff but i thought i might aswell ask people here what theyre asking for, already have or planning on buying so it can give me an idea of what to ask for and it can also help others too!

please post any ideas however big or small. (oblivously i more than likely get the big but put it here anyway). :good:

:) you got a tank? community? size? what fish? etc, etc.

You could get like, ornaments. o:

Nice filters, nice sub heater, background poster, good quality gravel, plants. :)

good good keep them comin

i just bought a fry tank and i got some plants in there and an ornament but maybe a few more stones and maybe some fake plants?

sadly i dont have the time/space/money for another tank.....wait this thread isnt just about me there i go thinking about myself again

Personally I'm asking for a new filter for christmas. I hear that the external filter are generally better. If anyone has an opinion?

:good:

i have loads of fake plants lying around. pm me.

I might be asking for a C02 set this year. (fairly expensive so would be a joint prezzie from my partner and his parents) Only good if you have real plants tho!

How about a selection of water treatment products/test kits.

Aquarium vacuum cleaner (really usefull!)

Does your LFS do vouchers? Always handy,so you can choose yourself. Its my birthday next week so i'm hoping for either vouchers or a new QUIET air pump(any recommendations).

Usually I feel that presents are things that you would really like/need but either can't afford or justify spending out on.

Taking that into account I would suggest the following....

API Master Water testing Kit (if you don't have already)

Plant fertilizers (if you have real plants)

Specialised Foods

Melifix, white spot treatment etc.

Then of course decorations (but that's a personal choice?)

Check out your LFS for discount/loyalty clubs...(one of my LFS do a 1 year membership for a one off payment of £5 which then gives you 10% off everything plus specials throughout the year)

Hope this helps a bit :good:
