CKUTZ - I do that too! I always feel sorry for worms when they are on the pavement as they have no eyes to get back on the grass!

Poor old worms!! Reminds me of the time that I had some tadpoles a few years ago and was told to feed them worms. I spend hours going round the garden digging for them and eventually found half a dozen. Took them indoors and got the knife to chop them.....and couldnt bring myself to do it. Then I had a brainwave! I thought if I close my eyes and go chop chop it will be done......still couldnt do it! I ended up putting them back in the garden and feeding the tadpoles on catfood!!!

Incidentally I feed mine on eathworm pellets bought off Ebay - they love em!
