Chiped Tank

at one of our lfs they are salling a 1.2 m long tank for $50 but it has a chip and a very suspect silicon redo  what would u do

Sounds cheap, if the chip is not a problem, then you could always redo the silicon fix.

Get the tank cheaper.
 
Sometimes you can get away with certain chips, depends where it is and how deep.
 
As for silicon, bit of a faff but can be taken off and replaced.

went and looked at it again found multiple chips in it and tht it had been used for snakes and that it had been full but i dont really trust it. it just does not look right. so i dont think so
