Chiclid Stocking For 55 Gallon?

Im going to be getting a new 55 gallon fishtank soon I will be using playsand as substrate and rocks for hiding place/decoraton
I was wondering what kind of chiclid can I put in there?
Not too aggressive and Not 100$ each either im 14 and on a budget

Well a side from a select few, most Cichlids aren't $100 each. You have a lot to choose from. Angelfish, and/or Apisto sp./Ram maybe be a good place to start. Not too aggressive.

so would bolivian rams be good or blue rams?

Bolivian rams are hardier than the blues, however, both require excellent water quality and keeping nitrAtes as low as possible. Both reach roughly 3", both require the same water params 6.6 - 7.5ish, same temp etc, so its really a personal choice.

What other fish would you be keeping with them?

why not try things like keyhole cichlids/tbar cichlids etc these are adaptable to water quality thus easier to keep esp if newbie to cichlids
