is there any cichlids i could put in a 54l tank with 1male 2female platys 1 upside down catfish and 2 corys

are they expensive and will they attack the platys there only just over a inch long

how many should i get
and if i get male and female when they breed wont they get agressive
and every where i read said a pair needs a 15gallon tank

would i be able to have
2 corys
3 platies
1 upside down catfish
2 cockatoo chiclids
and i was thinking of taking the male honey goarami from my 5g tank and putting it in there with a female or would that be to much

and then will that be ok
6 corys
3 platys
pair of honey gourami
pair of cockatoo cichlids
or will the gourami and cockatoo fight if they start to breed

I have a proven breeding pair of Cockatoo Apistos in a 34 ltr which are perfectly happy now they are on their own. I did have pygmy cory with them but things got very bad once fry appeared

In a 54 litre you could have a male with a pair of females as they are harem breeders. You will have to supply a cave for each female as they will want to set up a territory at breeding time and will defend it vigorously. Plenty of plants and bog wood too.

When they breed and the fry appear the Platy will most certainly be after them and things will get very aggitated with the female Apisto and possibly the male too.

wat so its a bad idear to have them in with platys and corys
i might get chocolate gourami insted my lfs said there getting them in next monday
or can dwarf rainbowfish go in there
