Possibly, though they are pretty sugary, acidic, soggy and seedy; so I don't think they'd do your filter or water parameters any favours...

Could be wrong though.

I feed my plecs tomatos sometimes, they do like them. Cut them open and remove the seeds though :good:

I tried tomatoes in my main Plec tank and they weren't interested.
(Cut out all the mushy stuff and seeds. Just fed the skin).

Mine suck all the mushy stuff off and leave the skin! I think the skin is pretty indigestible, tbh.

If you have plecs then courgette or the odd bit of cucumber although cucumber doesnt have a lot of nutrients in it. Peel the courgette skin off and they will eat the lot! Mine are also partial to sweet potato which I microwave for a minute to soften it up a bit, and they also like red and green sweet peppers.

For other fish try lots out - soften hard veg a bit for them. Some of my fish were partial to banana infact my gourami was called Mr Banana cos he loved them! Experiment - fish are like us they all have their own taste and they will soon you you know what they like!!

Is a plec a bristle noes and if yes I have 2 but I never see them eat anything :/

If they're not used to being fed veggies, they might not recognise it as food yet. Keep on trying, and they'l get the idea eventually :good:
