I'm trying to move my fish around to empty 2 old tanks so I can sell them. Need some advice on what can go with what.....

D'you reckon a pair of young chequerboard cichlids (around 1") could go with 6 young sparkling gouramis (half to 3/4 of an inch) and 3 arched cories (1/2") in a heavily-ish planted 70 litre tank?

Also have a 5" lemon spotted green pleco - would he go best in a planted 125 litre community with a bulldog plec being the only other bottom feeder, or better in a 120 litre tetra/loach tank that is peat filtered and no plants, only rocks, but that has tetras and 6 zebra loaches, 4 burmese sand loaches and a couple of kuhli loaches? He's 10 times their mass, would he push them out the way to get to the food (they're cheeky lil beggars)?

thanks guys!

Sarah

The checkerboards and sparklers should be ok together, because neither are aggressive :)

I think the pleco would do well in the 125, more plants and less bottom feeders are the best way to go imo ;)
