yep bored at college so i don't think this ones been done before...

what is the cheapest fish you can buy locally, without travelling far and wide..

at work we sell neon tetras at 3 for £1- so singly thats 33p

Common goldfish, $1.99. They're probably cheaper elsewhere, but that's the price at my LFS. :)

Bag of mixed guppies, around 50 in a bag for £15 which makes them 30p each.

Otherwise for single fish around £1 is the cheapest you can buy anything for.

hmmm i think i should of said non-feeder ones, having all the US feeder prices in makes it a bit out.

Zebra Danios, probably. I think they are $3 for 6.... So about 50 cents each. Neon and Cardinal Tetras are also 50 cents.

I think cod is cheapest round here, about £2.99, haddock or hake are about £3.50. That, of course, does include chips, but not mushy peas.

:p
