Cheapest fish locally?

Wow...I wish danios were that cheap (10 cents). There 99 cents to $1.99 (depending one which kind)
Same with neons, they are $2.49 here (or was it $3.49?)

all the fish that yall have for cheap , like neons and white clouds, my lfs sells for 3-4 us dollars each.

Von Rio tetras are the cheapest fish there, being $.99

Bag of mixed guppies, around 50 in a bag for £15 which makes them 30p each.

Otherwise for single fish around £1 is the cheapest you can buy anything for.

near us they sell neons for ....£5.00 for 11 ......thats the cheapest I 've seen. Never owned a neon tetra.....thinking about a widgy tank as I type!!

I think cod is cheapest round here, about £2.99, haddock or hake are about £3.50. That, of course, does include chips, but not mushy peas.

i can get zebra danios for $0.49
or i can get any long tail danio for $1.09
ther are many other good deals I can list but that would be too long


Whan i go to petco if i go to the fish department ther is a sign on sale fish there great $0.89 for barbs rams $2.99 ect and their healthy too

I don't really look at the cheap fish (Oddballs and cichlids aren't usually cheap) but I think the cheapest one have to be livebearers, in price and quality

Cheapest fish I've seen around here, that are not feeders, would be the owner-turnin livebearers (they sell the feeder livebearers separately) at one shop. They just fill up the tank, sell them for $1 each, then when the tank starts to get too full, they offer two+ for a $1.

what is the cheapest fish you can buy locally, without travelling far and wide..

at work we sell neon tetras at 3 for £1- so singly thats 33p

I want your FS to open a branch here, 3 neons would cost me £3.75, I get a free one if I get 6 and I would say, they are probably the cheapest round here. Anyone from Peterborough (or nearby) know better? We are not spoiled for choice round here.

[EDIT: I am after a decent school of Denisons Barb dennisoni (SP?), cheapest I have found locally is from an lfs I don't usually get fish from (bad experiences) £14.99. From lfs I usually use they are £21 each. I consider a decent school to be 10+ thats a lot of money, any good deals near you?]
