Cheap lid

I am looking for a cheap lid for a 40 gallon breeder. Any suggestions?

If you have lights that can clip onto the inner rim use tile, 2 pieces of this would do https://www.homedepot.com/p/Traffic...l-Tile-2-25-sq-ft-piece-ULMK18181PV/205071865 If tile will block your lighting consider 1/4 inch wire mesh and shape it to fit but this option will not help with evaporation unless you use some clear plastic to wrap around it. Clear acrylic sheets would be another option
