Today when I came home from wrok I found Charles my Betta on the tank floor not moving and he had lost all his coloring in his mask
Poor guy, my entire tank was built around him. He was my first fish and only had him a few months now. I wonder if ti was the so many moves to bigger tanks that may have done it (everyone else in the tank is fine and the water tests OK) I had recently moved my community to a 30 gallon tank as the 10 gallon just wasn't cutting it. Last night I noticed his colors a bit duller and he seemed a bit "depressed". But then he'd show signs of himself and be swimming all over. I feel horrible that I didn't check this morning before work on the tank. Maybe there was something I could have done.
But really, I don't think I could have done much at that point in time (5 am on a sunday) so Goodby Charles, you opened my eyes to fish and I will miss seeing you swimming about to and fro in my tank
<3
EDIT: could he have over ate and died? I noticed yesterday him guarding a algea waffer and picking at it, this was the first I had ever seen him notice them but, he wouldn't leave it alone.
