hi

i see several tanks with blue lights and would like to have 1 for my tank.

i currently have a white tube light do the fish need the white light or can i just replace the white light for a blue one. or would it be better to have both, can anyone recommend a good blue light please

thanks

As far as I'm aware they don't need light no, you could just add an LED strip as an addition to a white light thats what I did. A small DIY task of minor wiring and it looks great and only cost be a few quid.

Hi,

I work in lighting and we have tubes specifically made for our pet care range.
None of which are actually for fish, more for showing / strengthening true colours and helping plant / coral growth.

I agree with RossC's idea, leave the white light and just add a strip of blue LED ;)

thanks for the info guys, can anyone recommend a good set of lighst please
