Hi everyone AGAIN :p , so I am wanting to change my substrate to small, round gravel. This is because my gravel is a little sharp just now and I am getting 5 dwarf loaches to help with the algae.

I need help on what to do so I don't - like - restart the tank or anything like that.

Hope you can help and thanks in advance. :)

Just use a gravel vac, and take out the filter part and use only the hose so it sucks up gravel, then replace it

Depending on the size of the gravel of course this could block up the tubing - if this is possible, replace it very carefully as not to stress the fish too much and make sure it's thoroughly washed before hand otherwise you might not see your fish again for days aha.
Might be worth getting a pipe which is wider than the siphon pipe, that way you can still create the suction and empty it out, but it'll be quicker and more efficient. Just don't suck up the fish!
