Changing My Pump!

Any body help have just fitted an external pump on my juwel 125 so when can i take out the internal pump that came fitted in the tank The internal pump has been running for 10 months.

If there is room you could take the filter media out of the internal and slot it into the external. That way you can switch over to the new filter straight away.
