Changing lights in aquarium hoods.

Hey, Im getting an eclipse system 6 soon. it has a light in there that is very low light, and im wondering if its easy to change lights, since ive never done it before. i want a higher watts of light/gallon ratio because im getting live plants. I want 2 watts per gallon or above. so is it easy, do you just buy a higher wattage light, take the old one out, and put the new one in? it can be done right?

You would need to change the Ballist, I believe it is called as you can't just put a higher watt bulb in the one that comes with it as they are made for a maximum wattage (the wattage that comes with it).
