Changing Avatar

ive tried so many times to change my avatar to a pic from my pc, it says its too big although its 100 by 100 which is smaller than the maximum were allowed and it also says they will readjust it if its not right anyway. why isnt it working?!
ive also tried to put in urls for website ones and it says nothing has been added when i click update

am i just being really thick,why doesnt it work?!

the webpage i got it from is http/www.avatarist.com/avatars/Funny/page20/ its the top pic of the kitten with its paws up

unless you can tell me what i need to copy from there and where to put it?

Upload your pic to image imageshack, then simply put the direct link (url) in to the avatar box thats says Enter a URL to an online avatar image... and click update.

Just had a look, file size is a little too big (21k limit) but easy to fix.....
either resize in a photo editing program or send it to me and I will do it for you.

when you've got the page with the imagine in open, right click on the picture and choose properties, this will give you the url for the pic, just copy n paste it into the box as above.

heres the add for the actual pic, just copy n paste that to make it easy
