Ceil

A couple of days ago, i went down to the local aquarium, and my eyes were drawn to this little betta living in a tiny glass bowl.

I bought him.
I named the little guy Ceil (which is a shade of blue) he's a very inquisitive fish, he always comes and has a look at me when i look at him (although i expect he's just trying to protect his territory).

And here he is:

I set him up in a 3.5 gallon plastic tank, with a small corner filter and one of those little heaters:

He seems pretty happy and swims about, and he's been eating. I am keeping the temp at 21C (is this appropriate?)
I will soon go out and buy some gravel for his tank, and maybe an ornament or two.

He's very lovely, that shade of blue is quite striking! I'd probably increase the temperature to around 25C. As far as tank decor, definitely add some sort of gravel and, personally, I'd add a small silk plant for him to rest upon. My boy Luck loves to lurk about in the tall silk plants I have in my tank! Congratulations on your new addition

He is lovely.

Up his temperature to around 25oC and deco will be appreciated. If you get plants go for live or silk plants and not plastic ones
