Catfish For A Tank With A High Ph

Im after something like a catfish for my cichlid tank.

i have a plec in there who keeps the rocks clean but i want someone to dig in the sand a bit like a loach or catfish would.

trouble is i have limestone and crushed coral in the tank so the ph is quite high and the cichlids are gonna be quite aggressive as they get bigger so he/she needs to be tough.

any suggestions?

yea that looks good thanx.

dont kno if the long whiskers would be an issue tho as they could get nipped easily and he wouldnt be able to move through all the rocks i have in there very well.


would upsidedown catfish be ok?

then go for some smaller breed synos.like petricola or nigriventris
