Catching the little beggars

Know what's even more fun?

When you find out your tank has a crack in it as you're on your way to the Mandarin for dinner. I had to strip down my entire tank and catch all the fish within twenty minutes. They lived in a huge pickle jar until I got back from dinner [couldn't delay it to get a new tank.. reservations and parents just don't understand], and on my way home I picked up a new tank.

Glad to hear you moved them all safely.. it can be such a chore!

Have you noticed how they change color depending on their surroundings? WHen I did a full cleanup, I had put the fish into a yellow bucket. The next day I was shocked to see the fish almost faded, seeming to merge into the background. When I put them back into the clean tank they got back their color!! WHew....

forgot to mention , don't if anyone else did , and maybe you will unplug and remove your heater first :dunno: , thought I'd add that as well .
