carpet plants

when i had that before in my tank i placed my gravel vac on top of the plant just to catch dirt but i dont suck the plant up just pass it on top slowly

that plant looks a lot like micro sword (Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae or something in that family). i've got some of that and some of the narrow leaf pygmy chain sword. i just put it in about a week ago in a couple different tanks, so i don't have any progress to report, other than the clowns in one tank keep digging it up. they wait until i replant it and then go to work rooting around at the base of it.

sometimes I wish there was a aquatic lawn mower, since cutting my grass carpet gets annoying sometimes, sooo many cuttings!
