Caribsea Eco-complete

Hi all. I have four bags of caribsea black sand to go into my tank but want a nice planted look so was thinking about maybe filling the back corner with Eco-complete. Has anyone used this? What are people's thoughts on using the Eco-complete and dividing it from the sand with rocks as to minimise it all getting mixed up?

Well I have Eco Complete in my Arc60 tank and IMHO I dont think it has made my plants grow any stronger than they do in my community tank that has plain substrate.

It looks nice tho.
