Carbon Filter

Hi all,

Just a quick question, I recently put some bog wood in the tank and a lot of tannin is seeping out. To combat it I have added a carbon filter. What I want to know is, will it do any harm if I use it for longer than stated on the box (Which is about 4 days)

Lol. The four days is only how long the carbon is active for. Even that might be a bit longer than it will actually last. Keeping it in your tank won't do any harm.

It may be useless even sooner , depending on how much leaches out of your wood .
