Car Boot Sale

We did a car boot sale this morning. I really wasn't looking for anything but spotted this glass tank, which I didn't need as hubby pointed out, but inside were 2 ornaments

now I did like the bridge but on closer inspection it has small holes that a nosey betta would try to get through, whereas the naff one with the lighthouse looks like the sort of thing a betta would like. So a good scrub and a soak methinks before using. Had to have the tank as well even though I didn't need it (ha ha) the seller insisted.

Sorry? What did you say? What did I forget to tell you? The price? Sorry! about that my head is like a sieve lately.....fifty pence!! for the lot...what could I use a spare tank for???

I should think it holds about 2 gallons looking at it......no not that much 12 inches by 8 by 8. Might have a word with my boys see if anyone fancies getting in the new tank...

I walked past a charity shop in town today, and there was a hexagonal tank (looked plastic) looked about 12-15 litres, inside were ornaments, I seen a plug so either a filter or heater, gravel, and it looked quite good for £10. Was tempted

last time i went to a car boot sale i never really looked but i have heard so many people getting bargains i might go up to one soon. you got a real deal there 50p! the ornaments alone would be over £10 and so would the bowl. you got a lucky find.
