Cant Upload Pictures

I want to upload my own tank pictures but am having trouble. says they need to be under 100k's. I have a blackberry phone which i have taken my pictures on but cant upload them as they are all around the 700k mark. any idea how to make the file smaller rather than alter the resolution so the picture quality isnt bad ?
 
Any ideas/help ?

There is one way which I done myself and that is to open your photo in Micorosft Paint. They resize it in there. Save it and  right click the photo, click on properties and then it will say the photo size in KB.

The hosting sites are a very good solution. The forum software can upload images but it does have a tendency to be picky.

I've tried uploading direct to the forum and other than my avatar, haven't been able to make them small enough yet for it to accept them!
Have never used photo bucket etc, will maybe look into it.
