Can't Keep Plants Alive!

I dose every day just to even out the concentration. It also helps towards having a more stable tank more of the time.

Don't be frightened of upping the dose as plants grow. More plant mass needs more nutrients.

The place i am thinking is basically to cover your heater. If you are not happy with it there then you can have it wherever you want. It's always best to have a few goes, stand back and see how it looks and 'feels' then try again if it isn't correct.

Oh okay gotcha...heater isn't there permanently...just while it's cool... it is about 50 or 60 degrees here and it is winter...so it really doesn't get cold here...in a few months it will be back to 80s or 90s and in summer it can be 120 or 130....more often than not I have to put in ice cubes lol....heater will be out soon
