Cant Keep Neon Tetras In Uncycled Tank! What Shall I Do?

As others has told me that neon tetras cannot handle unstable water conditions well, i was thinking if it would be possible if i could keep my neon tetras in a breeding container in my tank, but without the same water as in the tank...i can change the water daily easily, but i would have to move the tetras often...
can this all be done as i have no other option...i think

youll end up killing them with stress...and youll end up changing the water every 5 minutes because the body of water is less...keep the neons in their current tank, see if you can get some mature media, if not do 80% water changes every 8 hours

ok will the fish shop just give me mature media...how do you get it...do you just ask them for some filter media? i doubt they will give


oh yea...i think this shop will give mature filter media, but this is from a goldfish tank...does this matter or is it no problem?

and this shop which will givle mature media only has goldfish...i bought my other fish from this shop with this owner who i doubt will give some filter media

local fish store.

even a local hobbyist might give you some media

ask the shop you bought the neons form if theyll have them back so you can do a fishless cycle...if not your MUST do 80% water changes a few times a day
