At first I was going to just make my tank all south american plants and fish, but I really was thinking about trying out harlequin rasboras so I'm thinking about just making the tank a mix of South America and Eastern.

Originally I was going to have

4 angels
6-8 lemon tetras
6-8 bloodfin tetras
6-8 julli cories or dwarf cories in general
And my striped Raphael catfish

Currently the tank is just one angel, the catfish, and one julii cory (probably not though, and ill get the spelling in a bit) so while the tank is empty right now I definitley have the flesh out the cories and the angels (í can't get rid of the angel because he's cool and because he's a bit of a mess)

Now if I could do the rasboras I would switch out the bloodfins.

So I guess I'm asking if there's any way I could alter the stocking a bit, and which would be able to deal with less than ideal conditions better ( they'll be fine up until late July since I go on vacation, and I leave for college in August, after that the only that happens is my brother feeds the fish, and I come home every other week)

damn dude that sucks, your settting up this sick tank and then having to leave?  you should just build a sick tank at college

more like I'm trying to use whats left of my old set up and leave a much lower maintenence, yet still nice, set up so I can try and come back every other week and just have to water change and prune.

before I had a what was in my signature*, then a discus tank, and now im left with swords, some crypts, and 3 fish.

I'm only allowed a 10 gallon tank in the room and i definitely dont have time to deal with a fish tank at school.

* I changed it to what I have now, and after staring extensively between leopard, three stripe, and julii cories, I have a three stripe cory.
