Hi everyone,
I posted a week back about a betta of mine who was a rescue one. He was okay up with new water until three waterchanges ago, but then suddenly, when I change his water, he becomes sulky and the last time he went from blue to pure white for a couple of hours.
I waited one week to change his water and took out 1/4 of the water with they syphon. Again he paled up this morning after this change. . .but not as much as the previous time.
Between then and the change, I had scooped out water with a cup (about four cups) and replaced it with same temp water and THAT time he was okay. Should I just keep doing that even if it means his water isn't having proper changes? Seems like the syphon stresses him out, possibly? Anyone else have an issue with that? He's never been sucked up into it or anything scary like that.
