Canister Filter Suggestions?

I am currently looking to buy a canister filter for my 75g Oscar tank...bc they are messy fish..and my marineland 350 isn't keeping up with all food they tend to spit out. I have never used one before and don't know which brands are best. I want one that will keep up with this 75g..and eventually be good enough for 150g. Could someone please help me on a brand? and how easy they are to set up/run?

i love my Marineland C-530 canister they are almost 100% flawless

if you have the money.
ive never had a problem with ehiem.
you can get the basic and upgrade the internals to run quiter smoother and more efficently

i'm the same have  eheim and cant fault them 
my eheim 2217 , 1000lph is very quiet and does a lovely job on my 40 gal tank
